The 35mm f/2 is the only lens I now have and it's a pretty good "normal" prime on a DX size sensor.



Pro Zooms like the 70-200 & 17-55 are heavy & expensive, and consumer zooms like the 18-70 & 18-200 are too slow (max aperture), which I why I like primes. (Cheap, small, fast & lightweight).
