Don't know what kind of camera you are using.
My choices for portraits, with a Canon 5D
1, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS, I use most of the time
2. Canon EF 135mm f/2.0 L, for head and shoulders
3. Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS
Landscape,
1. Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L
2. Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS
