The Nikkor 50mm f1.2 AI-s and Nikkor-N 35mm f1.4 are two of my main lenses. Neither are electronic in anyway. Both are manual focus. Check my tags for photos taken with both lenses. Probably the last two lenses I would give up.
Do yourself a favor, buy a FM2n, install an E2 screen, load it with Delta 3200, set the ISO to 6400, and have some fun. The FM2n was made to be used in low light with these high speed lenses.
