Plus the Minolta MC/MD to Minolta AF adapters all either lose the ability to focus at infinity (limiting the lens to close-up photography) or (more commonly) degrade image quality by adding more glass in the way. So, unless you are into some DIY conversion, it's better not to go for the Minolta MC/MD lenses. On the other hand, for wonderful and affordable all-manual retro lenses, the M42 mount ones can be used on the Alpha with an adapter, without additional optics or loss of infinity focus.
