I think the only canon prime lens that will not fit full frame is EF-S 60mm 2.8. Stick to EF (not EF-S) and you'll be right for 5D.
Might be worth doing some searches in this group www.flickr.com/groups/canondslr/ for your preferred focal lengths, I'm sure you would find lots of opinions there.
