I had an F100 film camera and a bunch of really fine lenses..so the brand was a given. First I got the D70s and really wasn't impressed with what I was getting compared both to my F100 and my stupid little Sony Mavica 400...only 4mp! I did some research and found that most of the features found on the D200 were on the D80 so I sold the D70s on ebay and got the D80. I do love this camera... although I really wish Nikon would stop coming out with other temptations....D300 indeed. I hear my bank account screaming as we speak.
