How to document record breaking feats - 30 fps using 3 Canon Mark III and 3 600mm f4 lenses.

30 frames per second cameras

This is something you have to see..

Barry Bonds broke Henry Aaron’s career home run record, USA TODAY wanted to do something different but also give their readers a memorable feature that captured the moment. This is what they did.. For homerun #756, staff photographer Robert Hanashiro was able to achieve 30 frames-per-second by constructing a three-camera sequence rig consisting of Canon Mark III digital camera bodies (10 fps each); three 600mm f/4 lenses; two sets of MultiMAX radio triggers and cords ; Slik “triple plate” (to mount three cameras/lenses); Gitzo Pro Studex tripod and tripod head; three 10-pound Boa sandbags. How much did everything cost? nearly $50,000 or Php 2,350,000.00 at a P47 to $1 exchange rate and heavy at 175 pounds including the cases. 5 days to setup.. would love to try something like this some day…
