I have the 50mm F/1.8 and the 85 F/1.8 and i love them both

I also have the 18-200VR and I used it 99% of the time until I got my 85mm.

Sinc ei have had my 85mm it has been on my lens 90% of the time

It is not just a great protrait lens but it is a great what ever lens

It focus fast and it is great in low light for getting the pic

Here are a few shots I got with the 85



Ths one i got it inside and i was only a few feet away from her.




This one I was setting about 25 feet away







I have alot of others in my stream please feel free to look at them

I love my 85 and even tho I want a 105mm F/2.8 VR macro , I am very happy with the 85
