Put your money in glass and buy a cheap body like the XTi. By the time you outgrow the XTi the others will be "obsolete" anyway. The glass stays valuable, the bodies depreciate. I have a 10D with a vertical grip that is next to worthless to someone else so i keep it to do slide duping with. Still a great camera but not compared to a 30D or now the 40D. I have 5 "L" lenses that came from film days and they are still worth a lot of money.
