If you love the 18-70, go for the 70-300. I have the 18-70 too and I don't think I would take the 18-200 over it - there are a lot of advantages but I would rather switch and have the extra zoom. We also have the 55-200VR...it's definitley something you might want to consider as well. It's not that expensive, it has VR, and if you can't get adequite results at 200 you can always crop. Granted, the same can be said for the 18-200 VR. But that's all I have to say.
