the 50mm 1.8 is certainly a sweetie, in low light. On digital, it's more like a short telephoto, of course.. just getting long enough for head-n-shoulders portraits, too.. Sharp ones, at that.
I'd Definitely go for the wide-zoom.. the 18-70 probably ideal, considering it would take you up to where your longer ones begin.
Finally, I guess it depends on what you like to shoot/how you like to shoot it, really.
The only other option in incentives is to get whichever would open up your shooting in ways you've Not been typical. Thre's nothing like a new lens or lens range to get you seeing pictures differently, at least for awhile.
