EF-S lenses will still retain their value, someone with a cropped body will always want one. I tried out a 10-22 at the photo store in my town today...i'm a little bit hooked:D i'm planning out a photo setup for when i study abroad in the Galapagos in 2 years, i had originally planned on getting a 40D to replace my current XTi and 28-135 lens, a 17-40 f/4L, and a 70-200 f/2.8L IS, but i might have to rethink that...the 10-22 seems like an amazing landscape lens.
