Personally I'd say the 35mm is your best choice of those listed. Fantastic depth of field and sharpness, plus you can focus at extremely close distances. Simply an exceptional lens.



Avoid the 18-55 at all costs.



The 24mm isn't as good in digital as it is in film.



Don't buy the 24-85mm just not really that great at anything. If you want something in that range, look into the Tokina ATX PRO-2 28-70mm f2.8.



The 70-300 is ok, only if you already have other lenses and aren't planning on using it for anything except outdoor telephoto use, otherwise it isn't fast enough for low light shots in say... an arena or some such.
