no you dont need an adapter. the tokina comes with canon or nikon mount. (well you dont need an adapter as long as you get the canon version :) )



its really an amazing lens. its full frame (no black corners), autofocus works etc. and its pretty damn sharp even wide open (depends on what you shoot of course)



and its nice to be able to zoom up to 17mm. you wont use the zoom often, because it looks less "fishy" the more you zoom in, BUT everytime i used the zoom i was very happy to have it!
