There are pockets of very few indians might want to buy images but most would like to offer you publicity dream instead of money. Infact, in my view whoever is making money and using images must pay for it too. Yes, there are some real geniune requests but end of the day, we need to feed family.

Sorry, I am NOT biased toward Indians but really had too many freebie requests from Indian Magazine, websites and other publication for free pictures.
There are some Indian Magazines in UK e.g: Asiana, Asian Brides and Asian Weddings are the top of the list who mostly run on TFP shoots. I have two of my friends their images were published for nothings and magazines never want to buy images. Those magazines got high circulation in Asian market all over the world but they don't want to pay.
You can check most of those TFP images on modelmayham or others.
I had requests from Australian Cricket magazine to publish some of my cricket pictures but when I told them the price. They came back with surprise reply "Sorry, we didn't know that your are a professional" hahah.
Well, we don't get free gear from Canon, Nikon or others to for life. Do we get any? if yes, please let know asap! :)
