Though they've been circling each other like a couple of prize-fighters for several months, Canon and Nikon are finally set to go toe-to-toe now that their top-of-the-line digital SLRs -- the Canon 1Ds Mark III and Nikon D3 -- have hit the market. Stephen Shankland, in his Underexposed blog on CNET, thinks it's about time for photographers to weigh in on who has the better digital DSLRs.
While you can go take Stephen's poll if you'd like, we'd prefer to get your thoughts on Canon vs. Nikon right here on PDNPulse. While Canon has ruled the pro market for the last several years, many photographers are still steaming over the autofocus issue on the Canon 1D Mark III. Nikon, in contrast, has made lots of headway in the amateur digital SLR market -- while alienating some pro shooters -- but is set to try to win them back with its much buzzed about new D3.
Please give a shout out in the comments section below on who you think has the better digital SLRs right now -- Canon or Nikon.
