Unless you are dissatisfied with the picture the Canon S5 will give you, why try to fix what ain't broke? You could always continue to use your Canon as a close up camera for flowers and wahtever, and spend your money on another type of lens for your D80, thus extending your options, rather than just keeping it constant.
Of course, there may be valid reasons why you'd want to use your D80 for macro, but you should conseder them closely. I'm not saying that your D80 is not a good choise for macro, I'm just saying you got it covered already. And you seem to be happy with the results the Canon gives you.
In my opinion you should get something that will allow you to take pictures that neither the Canon nor your current D80 lenses will be able to.
