The arctic butterfly won't hurt the layer over your sensor (since you don't actually touch your sensor). If you use your camera at all, you will get dust.
Unless you are a numbskull, the brush method works fine and won't damage a thing. I am on my 6th Canon body and have been using a compressor with liquid trap + brush for years with no problems whatsoever. No way I can send a camera out every time there is dust.
I have only used liquid once. You shouldn't have to use the wet method very often. Simple dust removal is as easy as a sensor brush swipe away. I use this, which is a lot cheaper than the butterfly:
