I've got a choice between the Nikon 12-24mm and the Sigma 10-20mm zooms. The prices aren't really a factor -- I can get a really good deal on the Nikon, and I just made my final mortgage payment this week :-) :-)
After checking up some of the reviews, especially Thom's and the side-by-side Nikonians, it seems that the Nikon has better sharpness, so the only reason to go with the Sigma would be the extra 2mm.
I'm wondering if someone with a Sigma 10-20 could take a couple of shots, one at 10mm and one at 12mm, so that the difference in field-of-view would be obvious? I'm having a really hard time visualizing it from statistics.
Many thanks in advance…
