Reply to Budget Lenses?

So does anyone have any good things to say about the Tamron 75-300mm f/4-5.6 Macro and 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6, or any pictures taken with these lenses? I'm planning on picking up a XTi soon, but my head is spinning trying to pick out (budget) lenses. So far the only sure one i pretty set on is the Sigma Zoom Super Wide Angle 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM. Any help would be great. Thanks
