You have started the upgrade path, soon enough you'll be gunning for the future replacement of the 5D.
So, in your shoes I'd avoid EF-S (DC en Sigma parlance) cropped sensor lens. Go for full frame lens (EF or DG Sigmas) because you'll use them in your future full frame camera.
