Reply to A few questions

You have the Digital Rebel I believe, looking at a couple of your photos.

I am about to buy the new 40D.

I have been mulling over the 24-70mm f2.8 L or the 24-105 f4 L OR the 17-55 f2.8 EF-S (one of the two top of the range lens for the crop factor cameras along with the 10-22 EF-S) which has incredible reports and comparisons.

Here are a couple of threads to look at if you haven't already read them, which contain further readings and links.

I realise that the 17-55 lens is not an "L", but if you don't have the 10-22 wider lens than it may be a fantastic alternative for you.

I don't think the 24-70 will be wide enough on a digital rebel for shooting landscapes, whereas the 17-55 would be fine.

Just something else for you to consider.

What other lens do you have?
