Thanks for the advice. It's definitely a difficult decision. Do I compromise now and have the focal length or do I wait a year and get the L lens? I checked out photos from the different lenses and the Canon seemed to have more WOW shots. Not to say there weren't fantastic shots from the third party offerings, there just didn't seem as many. Although maybe it's more of a reflection of the photographers rather than the glass.



IS for the 70-200 or even the 70-300 is definitely out of my budget.



I hadn't even thought of the 55-200 IS. thanks for the heads up.
