As far as second hand lenses go, try London Camera Exchange in town... can't recall the street name..... anyone? Anyhoo, it's best to go somewhere like that where you can actually see, feel, and try the lens before you buy, ebay is a huge gamble which can pay off, or can leave you short of a bob or two.
